Cordless Blackout Roller Shades with UV Protection for Windows and Doors

TYPES OF MOUNTS: Inside mounted shades will be deducted approximately 1/4" to fit inside the window frame properly. Minimum frame depth of 2.5 inches is needed for secure installation with inside mounted shades. If your frame depth is less than 2.5 inches, then outside mount is recommended. Outside mounted shades should be ordered with the exact width of the area you want to cover. They are used when there is not enough frame depth for inside mounting. Mounting hardware for both inside and outside mounts are included with our shades.

INSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENTS: Step 1 - Measure the inside frame width at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the smallest measurement and deduct 1/4" for ordering. Step 2 - Measure the height at the left, middle, and right sides. Record the smallest measurement for ordering.

OUTSIDE MOUNT MEASUREMENTS: Step 1 - Measure the outside frame width and add 6-10 inches for the outside mount width. Step 2 - Measure the outside frame length and add 5-10 inches for the outside mount length. Overlap is recommended for proper coverage and light gap prevention.

DESCRIPTION: Cordless blackout window roller shades made of 100% polyester fabric with a color-coated backing. Two types of fabric - blackout blocks 100% light and UV rays, while light filtering provides privacy without being see-through. Two top constructions available - with metal valance or without valance. Metal valance will be covered in the same shade fabric. All mounting hardware included.

INSIDE MOUNT: Minimum depth for shade without valance is 2", with valance is 4". Shade width is 0.25" shorter than the window opening width, and the height is the same as the window height. There will be a tiny gap on each side for inside mount, allowing light to enter.

OUTSIDE MOUNT: Shade width should be 3-6" wider than the window width, and the height should be 8-10" longer than the window height for better coverage.
